Jim is
a partner in the firm’s Litigation
Department. He has over 25 years experience
litigating cases in trial courts and arbitrations,
and he has argued appeals in the Connecticut
Supreme and Appellate Courts and in the
Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
He manages the Firm’s wrongful
death and personal injury practice, and
has tried a variety of contract, tort,
products liability, landlord-tenant, municipal,
contested probate, land use and title
actions. He has represented clients before
administrative tribunals including local
planning and zoning boards, the Commission
on Human Rights and Opportunities, the
Freedom of Information Commission and
local Boards of Education.
He serves as an Attorney Trial Referee,
Arbitrator and Special Master in the Superior
Court, and he has been counsel to the
First Taxing District of the City of Norwalk
for over 20 years.
He was a member of the Norwalk Public Library
Board of Directors in the 1980’s and
1990’s and served on the Board of
Directors of the Norwalk Youth Symphony
in 1999-2000. He is a past member of the
Vestry of Grace Episcopal Church in Norwalk.
