Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan is seeking a mid-level corporate and transactional associate attorney for its Greenwich, CT office. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background with either major law firm or in-house corporate experience advising on (i) transactional matters (including financings, private equity, private M&A, and/or venture capital) and (ii) business operational matters (including governance, employment issues, intellectual property contracts and other matters, and commercial and general contracts). Experience multitasking and supporting multiple transactions and clients simultaneously, with the ability to work as a member of the team and independently is required. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with strong work ethic, integrity, professionalism and enthusiasm, and will be willing to initiate and participate in practice development activities. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills are a must. Required proficiency in Outlook, MS Word and Excel.

Paralegal / Fiduciary Accountant
Whitman Breed is seeking an experienced, full-time paralegal & fiduciary accountant. The duties associated with the position include assisting attorneys with:
- Preparing federal and state estate tax returns (forms 706 & 709);
- Preparing federal and state income tax returns (forms 1040 and 1041);
- Preparing fiduciary accountings for trusts and estates; and
- Administering CT & NY estates and the preparation of probate documents.
Candidates should have:
- An undergraduate degree, an accounting background, and excellent math, organizational and computer skills;
- A minimum of 3+ years of law firm trusts & estates experience or accounting firm experience; and
- Excellent communications skills.
The position involves significant client interaction and candidates must be detail oriented, able to work directly with clients, and be self-starters who are able to meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
