Katie is a Partner in the Business Law Department and has experience representing both entities and individuals in the formation, structuring, and financing of various business entities, including corporations, limited partnerships and limited liability companies.  As part of her practice, Katie regularly acts as general counsel to companies of all sizes.  In this capacity, Katie has experience in negotiating a vast variety of commercial contracts, including contracts with vendors, suppliers, distributors, employers, independent contractors and joint venturers.

Katie also regularly represent lenders, borrowers, investors and issuers in a variety of commercial loan and financing transactions, including loan originations, convertible debt issuances, restructurings and workouts.

Additionally, Katie has represented clients in M&A transactions of all sizes, including representing both purchasers and sellers of businesses and assets through asset purchases, stock purchases and mergers.
